Jubilant, warm on the inside, willing to smash things out of excitement, are all ways to describe my feelings when I first heard that Warner Bros. was considering production of a Space Jam Squeakquel.
Lacking jubilance, frozen on the inside, willing to smash things out of anger, are all ways to describe my feelings when I first heard that Warner Bros. was considering making Lebron James the star of second installment of Space Jam.
Warner Brothers would really be selling out if they were to make The Decision to cast Lebron in the movie. The first Space Jam was such a success because Warner Bros. took the risk of casting a complete unknown, Michael Jordan, as the star of the movie. Who knows, without that one lucky break, Jordan might still be working at that Chuck E Cheese in New Mexico.
I’ve got faith that the studio that brought us Gravity and Catwoman will make the right decision.
