A Santa-filled Saturday!

Next to the hat is a sign attributing it to the New Haven Public Schools, although the Bullblog is somewhat dubious. We have confirmed, however, that this hat was not the work of the Pundits.
The second, much scarier, instance of Clausery was New Haven’s own version of SantaCon, in which Santa suit-clad gentlemen travel throughout the day from bar to bar getting increasingly drunk and un-Santa-like. A parade of such men could be seen midday, acting rowdy and loud, on Chapel St, presumably coming from the infamous Crown St vice district and going to Rudy’s. A loyal Bullblog fan sent us this picture of one of the Santas getting some food (drunk munchies?) at Ay Salsa:
As our tipster says, “Apparently we should be leaving delicious arepas out instead of cookies and milk.”
It’ll need to be quite a few arepas if we’re to appease him for our sins!

WHOA. While reading I received this from toadsplac@aim.com
Holiday Dance Party at Toads tonight, Saturday. Free Adm. with a Santa’s Cap.
It was Samuelson’s Intermediate Economics class that had its exam in SSS114 on Saturday. Intro Econ meets in the law school auditorium, and its exam was on Monday.
