Bullblog bathroom guide part three: Science Hill
OVERVIEW: Science Hill is likely far from where you live, and labs up there (I’m told) last hours and hours, so there’s a good chance you might have to use the bathroom at some point if you spend time there. Luckily, some of the money Yale has poured into the sciences over the past decade has gone into refurbishing bathrooms—most buildings are well-equipped. It’s hard to go wrong here.
WORTH A SPECIAL JOURNEY:
Kroon Hall—With beautiful wood finishes, lots of space, and modern appliances, this is easily one of the nicest toilets on campus. Plus, it’s eco-friendly! They use some kind of plant or something to filter rainwater to use in the bowl.
WORTH A DETOUR:
Environmental Studies Building—Very nice and modern; the tiles are a good touch. Also, it’s a relatively low-use space for the size, so the stalls will probably be empty.
A GOOD CHOICE:
Sterling Chem Labs—Not the most modern, but quite big. Also, this building is often accessible when others are closed for some reason, so if you find yourself in the area late at night or on the weekend, it may be your best bet.
Luce—A little small, but very well-finished. Can’t go wrong here.
Rosencrantz—Pretty much the same as Luce, though the bathroom location is a bit out of the way.
AVOID:
Becton—I don’t think there are smaller bathrooms on campus. Think airplane or MetroNorth. At best.
I have skipped many, many buildings… if anyone has particular thoughts, include them in a comment!
