Mary Glassman, who is running a campaign for Connecticut governor has some plans to make Connecticut a place that students want to live in after graduation. She wants to increase transportation, create a “research corridor” and create affordable housing- all to make Connecticut a hip place for us young folks! What would make Connecticut a hip place for hip kids like us? Here’s my top 10:
10. More Anchor, less Alchemy.
9. Switching the Metro North line to go straight to Yale 2 (Brooklyn) instead of Grand Central.
8. Trading Au Bon Pain with Pret a Manger.
7. Eliminating Stamford, Danbury, and Milford.
5. Subsidizing new Fashionista stores for every neighborhood.
4. A fashion week, a Scott Schuman, more emaciated models.
3. The Olsen twins.
2. Moving the capital to Holyland, USA
1. Judie’s cookies for everyone!
