Gymnastics and ice skating are great if you like girly Olympic sports (in case you were wondering, I do). HOWEVER, you really have to hand it to the girls of former communist countries who devote their lives to the lesser known arts — ice dancing and rhythmic gymnastics. Whenever I get down about Yale and wonder, “Who am I? Am I learning anything here? What is the purpose of all this? blah blah blah blah blah”, I like to put on some rhythmic gymnastics videos and ponder whether learning to catch balls with my lower back like a seal — a real tangible skill! unlike the art of bullshitting English papers! — would make me happy. Don’t try this at home, kids.
an introductory montage set to Britney!
