Joe is right. There is no more Cinema at the Whitney. There is, however, “Films” at the Whitney, and this week’s installment is noteworthy.
Friday night at 7 PM, there is a screening of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, followed by a Q+A session with the screenwriter and the producer. Go help celebrate the career of George Roy Hill — also, pick up a box of Fig Newmans at Durfee’s and celebrate King Cool while you’re at it.
For those of you who can’t sacrifice valuable pregaming time, there’s an encore on Sunday.
