Sam Lee’s brainchild, Magic Man will be playing a show in the basement of 216 Dwight Street at 9:00 this evening. Featuring musical impresario and all-around-great-dude Sam Lee ’12, Magic Man makes propulsive synth-tinged indie that gets noticeably louder and harder in a live, full-band setting. Check out their debut album Real Life Color for free here.
Magic Man will be sharing the bill with Modern Rivals, featuring Alice Wang ’08.
Magic Man’s last concert at 216 Dwight was easily one of the best Yale concerts in recent memory. Come prepared to dance, sway, mosh, shoegaze, whatever.
