Bullblog Tip-Off: That We Are

That We Are is Jay Frisby’s Senior Project in Theater Studies. A full-length dance theater piece, That We Are might best be described as “dance journalism,” capturing representations of the body in different cultures as seen during Frisby’s time traveling with the Whiffenpoofs. The inclusion of dance within the Theater Studies department at Yale is relatively recent, and the increasing number of Theater Studies majors deciding to direct dance theater pieces bodes well for the department. Frisby’s last show was a major success, so reserve tickets now. That We Are goes up in the Off-Broadway Theater Thursday through Saturday; all shows are at 8 PM.
Full disclosure: I may or may not be in this show. That doesn’t mean it won’t be fantastic.
