College “Jeo-PARTY!!!”, or How One High School Classmate Became President of the YPU and the Other Became An Editor at the Bullblog

Things I would not know were it not for suburban Long Island/my mom: my former high school classmate and president of the Yale Political Union Leah Libresco, is representing Yale in College Jeopardy. TRUE CONFESSION: We were both members of “Brainstormers” (academic trivia team, DUHHHH) at the Wheatley School (public school with deceptively pretentious name). I think she might have been President/Captain and I was Secretary? Typical.

More exciting, however: my extensive research of Leah’s Facebook page yields up a photo album (“College Jeo-PARTY!!!” — get it???) which seems to feature one “Dan D’Addario,” looking fly in khakis and a Columbia sweatshirt. Can anyone confirm that this is the “Daniel D’Addario” of IvyGate fame? DO TELL.

  • It’s definitely possible. But before I confirm, tell me more about this “IvyGate fame”?

  • Yup, that’s Dan of Ivygate. Dan is on tomorrow, and I’m on this Friday.

  • Confirmed: the bespectacled Columbia Jeopardy contestant is indeed my sexy co-Editor Dan D’Addario. Check IvyGate tomorrow for an update.
