Do’s and Don’t's on a snowy day at Yale

Early in my tenure, I gave you a guide to things to do and not to do on a rainy day at Yale. Much of that advice holds for a snowy day, although I would hesitate to recommend stepping out today in flip-flops. Here is some cold-specific advice for all the Arizonians in the house who have never seen snow before (OK, I guess this isn’t the first snow of the year, but maybe there are alcoholic Arizonians who don’t remember the first time. It happens.):
DO: Get yourself some DOWN at Trailblazer if you haven’t any already.
DON’T: Decide it would be cute to match the snow by wearing your tennis whites.
DO: Use any and all underground forms of transportation you can find to travel between buildings.
DON’T: Make the trek to the Div School Library today, even if it is beautiful up there.
DO: Have a snowball fight on Cross Campus.
DON’T: Forget to put on gloves before the snowball fight.
Any other advice? Comment it.

DO: Order in for dinner.
DON”T: Stand or walk too close to the curb. Vehicles+slush=shock+disgust.
