FASHIONISTA MOVING + MARKING DOWN [Updated with more info!]
Todd Lyon wielding some merch. Via Advocate.
Possibly the most important scoop I’ve ever reported on the Bullblog: Fashionista Vintage and Variety, New Haven’s most amazing vintage clothing store, will be moving come February. No news as to where yet, but it does mean that there are going to be sales like crazy (something they don’t usually do) so that they have less to pack.
For the uninitiated, Fashionista is owned by a woman named Todd (goddess) and is about 3000 sq ft. of vintage heaven. A sizable chunk (50% ish?) of my New Haven clothing comes from Fashionista. Some of the deals are amazing, although a lot of their stuff is really high quality or designer, so don’t expect Salvo prices. They’re going to be open every day from now until the new year. Get your ass over to their Church Street store before all the good stuff is gone.
UPDATE: An inside source indicates that the new store will be at Trumbull & Whitney, right near Caseus, and that they will re-open in February after a month-long hiatus during January.
