Franco heard the news from New Haven

This morning, before his 9:25 Byron, Shelley, and Keats class with Paul Fry, James Franco appeared on The Today Show to talk to Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira about his Best Actor Oscar nomination for his leading role in 127 Hours, announced earlier this morning. Matt informs us all that “James Franco joins us now from Connecicut,” and Franco indeed confirms, “I’m here in New Haven. I’m about to go to class.” (Don’t worry, Paul Fry). From a dark paneled room with a pile of books casually placed in the background (oozing intellectualism, right?) Franco jokes, muses, and flashes his million dollar smile. James even accuses Meredith of favoring Colin Firth over himself. But, Meredith recovers by assuring him that she will “polish his statue as well” and that Colin “is history. It’s all about you James. It’s all about you.” No one can escape the charm of the Francinator.
