Seasonal Confusion

By 17 September 2009 One Comment

This season has been really up and down and it’s been tugging on all our emotions.  You get up in the morning, get dressed in a light coat and by midday it’s soaked through.  You shower to combat the heat and when you step outside your wet hair feels like ice particles. If you’re like me (or Chloe Searcy) you have decided to combat this problem by changing outfits upwards of 5 times a day.  While allowing you to retain a sense of dignity and cleanliness, this solution does have the added problem of having to do your laundry once every three days.

Recently, I noticed a girl wearing a wife beater tanktop, leggings, and a fur scarf and an idea popped into my head: I want to dress for summer, I want to dress for fall, why don’t I dress for both?  Here are a few outfit ideas I had to get the ball rolling:

1.  Long black gloves, wool hat, scarf, and tank dress with flip flops.

2.  Thick leggings, boots, and a sports bra.

3.  Fur coat and nothing else à la Courtney Pannell

4.  Ski mask, ugg boots, and a bikini.

5.  Fur leggings and one of those trailer-chic, side boob bearing tank tops.
