The Bullblog’s picks for Class Day 2012

By 17 October 2011 No Comments

The YD”N” reported yesterday that both Harvard and Princeton have announced their 2012 Class Day speakers. Harvard’s senior class will hear from TIME editor Fareed Zakaria ’86 who delivered Yale’s Class Day speech in 2007 (Whatever, Harvard. Sloppy seconds). And Princeton somehow managed to snag the hilarious Steve Carrell.

Here are The Bullblog’s picks for 2012’s Class Day speaker:

Brian Williams: Two words: He’s hilarious.

Gen. Stanley McChrystal: By the time next commencement rolls around, it will have been almost two years since the Rolling Stone incident. The past is in the past, and Yalies lucked out because now we have one of the coolest seminar professors EVER.

Ellen DeGeneres: Whether she is making Nicki Minaj’s biggest fan’s dreams come true or helping Marlin find Nemo, Ellen is undoubtedly one of the funniest, smartest, kindest, and most successful comediennes out there.

Siri: If this little nugget inside my iPhone can tell me whether or not I need an umbrella before I leave for class in the morning, then she can probably give me some sound career advice and parting words of wisdom too. Thank you, Steve Jobs.
