Twitter is facebook updates is twitter tags

As if Twitter feeds and status updates weren’t already the same thing anyway, a new facebook feature has made it possible for people to tag their friends in status updates.   If you want to tag your friend in your status, you simply write @ and then start typing their name to select their profile from a scroll down list.  Now when you want to make sure a certain person knows what you’re feeling right now you can say it subtly and facebook will act as an intermediary by sending them an email telling them to check it out.
