Union League is Extraordinary

By 28 October 2009 No Comments

Somehow, this missed our Google Reader when it first came out, but last week, the Times reviewed Union League last week and awarded it its highest rating, Extraordinary. The review came in the paper’s Connecticut section, not the Dining section, so it isn’t quite comparable to Sam Sifton‘s NYC reviews—but Extraordinary is the equivalent of ****, now held by only six restaurants. This only makes the meat smells that periodically invade my room from across Sherman’s Alley more appealing—I think it’s time I follow Chloe’s advice and get a snack at the bar. OR try out their $29 early bird special. Maybe that will help distract me from the fact that my English professor referred to an argument I made in a paper as “swaggering speciousness”…
