Where my gays at?

This week has had a few minor stories that homos should be taking note of.  For maximum suspense, I present them in ascending order of impact.

4. Ellison Editorializes. In response to some apparently not so nice mail sent in about the Yale Alumni Magazine’s cover article on the “gay Ivy,” friend-of-the-fags Matthew Ellison wrote a disparaging YDN editorial.  Tyler Hill, himself a former YDN editor, responded to Ellison’s response.

3. Center street downer. Center Street Lounge, whose Thirsty Thursday dance parties thrilled many a gayalie, is now, according to Tony the bouncer, straight on Thursday nights.  As far as we know, Fucked-Up Fridays remains untouched and very much into guys.

2. Something at Toad’s? LGBT Co-op Co-Coordinating Comrades Rachel Schiff and Sophia Shapiro slammed Toad’s in the YDN for its history of less than queer-friendly attitudes, including its most recent sin of allowing known homo-killer Buju Banton to perform.  Toad’s replied with a terse “no homo.”

1. Watch this.  Trust me.

Hot trailer. I guess we’ll just have to start being selective about which Fridays we stay on campus?
