Pitchfork, the 10,000 lb. gorilla of web-based indie music criticism, is now streaming Magic Man’s “Monster” on Forkcast, the website’s daily selection of noteworthy new songs. Magic Man is a synth-heavy collaboration between Sam Lee (MC ’12) and his high school friend Alex Caplow, and “Monster” appears on their debut album Real Life Color, which we recommended back in January.
Sam Lee: sweet dude, critics' darling.
Get on the bandwagon before Magic Man blows up any further. You can listen to the whole album here.
